A lot has gone on on the Vanden Robotics Team. The Vanden VEX Competition was a big happening. This year, 8 teams from our Manufacturing Technology class competed. All 8 made it to playoffs, and with a team from Buckingham High School down the road, we won our own competition for the first time in its existence. Since the VEX competition in early December, we have been taking inventory for the mechanical and electrical committees, as well as making a day-to-day plan for build season. We are also have a mock kickoff day the weekend prior to the 2016 FRC Kickoff to go through how we will commence kickoff.
We are officially registered for the Central Valley Regional in Madera, California, the Sacramento Regional in Davis, California, and the Idaho Regional in Boise, Idaho. This will be our first trip to Boise for that regional. We competed at Madera and Davis last year, and were finalists at both. We won the Engineering Inspiration Award at Davis last year.
