24 teams participated in this middle school tournament from several schools in the area, including Golden West Middle School, Grange Middle School, Dublin, Public Safety Academy, Cavitt Jr. High School, and Green Valley Middle School. It was a small tournament, but that didn't take away from the fun of the event! It was great to help Golden West host their first tournament, which they hope to continue in the coming years.
The Excellence Award went to Grange, while the tournament champions hailed from Dublin!
It was a great experience, not only to show the Golden West mentors how to run this event, but to watch the students enjoy this event and work together!
